Elf Hunter 06 - draws an arrow

This started as a little quick doodle I made during class to keep myself awake... months later (through neglect) it elvolved to this. I am proud of myself for drawing a background. The Elf's form is influenced by the night elves in World of Warcraft. You can consider this a World of Warcraft fanart if you want I guess.

I changed the preview to a JPEG so DA can show it bigger. I'd love to color this ... :sigh: someday.

UPDATE:
There were quite a few things that I disliked about the older sketch. The first being the size of his head. I have a high-res scan of the old sketch that I hold onto because there were still things that I liked about it that I unfortunately lost a little in this revision.

UPDATE:
I am in the middle of making the ink of this sketch. I have never done an inking this way (on computer using a shaded sketch as a guide only). I thought someone might enjoy seeing a working progress. I am in the middle of making his right hand smaller and making his left fore arm a tiny bit shorter. You can see a little bit of the original sketch in blue. This is a very fun way to ink but it takes time!
